Firebase
Build apps on Firebase with the modular JavaScript SDK: Authentication, Firestore modelling and queries, Security Rules, Storage, Cloud Functions, Hosting and production practices.
What you'll learn
- Explain the Firebase client-SDK model and why Security Rules are the real backend boundary.
- Add sign-in with email, OAuth and anonymous auth, and use ID tokens and custom claims.
- Model, read, write and query Firestore data with indexes, cursors and realtime listeners.
- Write and test Firestore and Storage Security Rules with the Emulator Suite.
- Build Cloud Functions with the Admin SDK, deploy to Hosting and use app features such as messaging and Remote Config.
- Run Firebase in production with transactions, cost control, CI deploys and sound platform trade-offs.
