Why do I need to join a group first?
Google Play only lets people in our tester group download a test app. Joining the group is how Play knows it’s you.
Do I need an Android phone?
Yes — any Android phone or tablet on Android 7.0 or newer. There’s no iPhone version yet.
I’m on a computer. Can I still join?
Yes. Do both steps in your browser, signed in with that same Gmail. Then tap Install on Google Play and pick your phone, and the app downloads to it.
Can I leave the test?
Yes, at any time, from the same opt-in link, and you can leave the tester group on Google Groups. Email us if you also want your address removed from our list.
